RegRight💔 Standard Tattoos vs Jagua — Which One Should I Choose?

At RegRight💔, we offer two kinds of temporary tattoos to match different needs: our signature RegRight💔 (Standard) Tattoos, and the Jagua Add-On, which can be applied to mono-color designs.
Not sure which one is right for you? Let’s break it down.
Jagua is a natural ink extracted from the Genipa americana fruit, traditionally used by Indigenous communities in South America for body art. It stains the skin in deep blue-black tones, mimicking the look of a real tattoo.
It’s ideal for those who want to test a permanent tattoo idea, or just want something that really lasts and looks ink-ish. But it comes with a few trade-offs, like longer development time and a bit more effort to remove.
Our Jagua tattoo comes in the form of sticker, and uses the same method to apply as the RegRight💔 Standard tattoos. No skill required! It has slight blue tint as all Jagua does, but not so obvious when the weather is not too hot.
It costs more to make Jagua tattoos, so the price we offer is higher than RegRight💔 Standard tattoos.
The rule of thumb is to choose Jagua when you need a black-colored design to look identical to a real tattoo and lasts long. But you may still consider RegRight💔 Standard for its unique characteristics. We mark ❤️ in this table where an option has an upper hand:
RegRight💔 Standard | Jagua | |
Color | Any (CMYK) color you want: full color, black, white, and gradients ❤️ | Black only |
Prouction Time | 3 business days ❤️ | 6 business days |
Result | Immediate after application ❤️ | 1-2 days to develop after application |
Visual Style | Ultra-clear. Supports hi-res graphics | Soaks into the skin and darkens over time, leaving a natural “tattoo ink” appearance with a slight blue tint. Doesn't support very detailed graphics |
Durability | Up to 7 days | Up to 14 days ❤️ |
Removal | Easy - just rub in the shower or use soap ❤️ | Hard - requires water-based makeup remover |
Feel | Slight surface texture at first (film-like), softens over time. | No texture at all. It stains the skin itself, so once developed, it feels like nothing’s there. ❤️ |
We hope it helps! If you need further support, or other types of tattoos (e.g. glow, gold, silver), please contact us.
